Ground Investigation at Camden Market, London SI at night

Client: Stanley Sidings

We were called upon to manage a ground investigation during the night at a busy market site in Camden where redevelopment was planned.

In the early to mid 19th century the site was raised to form railway sidings for a horse drawn rail sidings for rail transit facility closely associated with the gin industry

The investigation was needed to confirm geotechnical information for the design of the structure and to provide data related to the level and nature of any contamination.
