Axiom Development Feltham

Client: Thornfield Properties and Barratt Homes

The Axiom site is part of a major regeneration of Feltham town centre comprising a mixture of new homes, offices, hotel, restaurants and shops.

We undertook a combined geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation that confirmed the presence of ground contamination associated with a former petrol station. Following this we developed a remediation strategy, which comprised the removal of old fuel tanks and ex-situ bioremediation of over 2,000m3 of contaminated soil.  We supervised and validated the works.

We also designed gas protection measures and provided geotechnical design advice for piled foundations, pad foundations and basement construction.
