Zero Harm by 2012

CARD recently attended the Birse Rail Supplier Forum, and has enrolled in their 'Achieving Zero Harm by 2012' scheme.

The principles of Zero Harm are:

• Zero fatalities

• Zero injuries to the public

• Zero permanently disabling injuries

• No long term harm to health

• An Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) of less than 0.1 by end of 2012

CARD is committed to ensuring that the Zero Harm philosophy is integrated into our existing Health & Safety processes to achieve these objectives.
