Card Geotechnics

Harrogate Office

• Graduate Geotechnical Engineers / Engineering Geologist

Card Geotechnics is at the cutting edge of geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy, with clients that include many of this country’s leading developers and contractors. We are currently seeking graduate geotechnical engineers/engineering geologists looking at developing their skills and experience to work at our office in Harrogate, on projects that vary in size and nature both in the north of England region and across the United Kingdom.

You will have graduated with a degree in geology, civil engineering or engineering geology and will have a further MSc degree in a specialising geotechnical or engineering geology discipline. You will also have a sound understanding of UK geology and/or UK construction practice and be looking to develop experience by taking on challenging projects and more responsibility. You will relish sitework and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic office environment.

Joining CARD, you will progress your career on a sound technical basis by doing real engineering and environmental consultancy from day one. Unlike some of our large rivals we won’t limit you to working on desk studies and risk assessments behind the scenes. You will be able to progress your career rapidly, by gaining real experience of all stages of projects within a supportive team.

In return for your effort and enthusiasm you will receive:

  • A competitive salary and performance bonus
  • Training leading to MICE, CEng, CGeol, CEnv and IEMA
  • Excellent project experience
  • A stimulating and friendly working environment
  • Early responsibility
  • Opportunities to progress your career

If you think working as part of the Card Geotechnics team in Harrogate is the kind of opportunity you are looking for then call Richard Pennock, Associate Director on 01423 276000 for an informal chat, or Nick Langdon, Director, on 01252 310364. Alternatively, email your CV to RichardP@cardgeotechnics.co.uk or NickL@cardgeotechnics.co.uk

Interviews will take place over the next 6 weeks.
