CGL are proud to be part of the corporate sponsorship of the National F1 Bloodhound Class Champions of 2011, as they head to Malaysia for the World Championships.
F1 in Schools offers children, from ages 9 to 19, an exciting yet challenging opportunity to be part of an F1 educational experience that raises international awareness of Formula One whilst creating an environment for young people to develop an informed view about careers in engineering, Formula One, science, marketing and technology. And CGL are glad to be there to help raise the profile.
Team Solstice, as the F1 Team are now known, held a demonstration and fund raising evening this month to thank local companies and the press who have supported the team over recent months, CGL being one of them! The evening gave Team Solstice a chance to demonstrate their talents and share the excitement of designing, building and racing a scale F1 car on a 20m track. Everyone attending was given the opportunity to try their hand at propelling the team’s model cars down the track and testing their response times in a competition for the fastest trigger finger.
We wish the F1 Team the very best at the World Championships in September 2011 and we hope they are able to bring back F1 trophies for the United Kingdom.
