UKRC Annual Conference

The annual UKRC conference held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster,London, on 12 October 2010 at which a film of the roles that various female members of staff of Card Geotechnics were undertaking a major site remediation was shown.

 

More than 300 delegates from across the public, private and third sectors, all sharing a commitment to building gender equality in science, engineering and technology. Part of the day involved televised interviews with TV Newscaster Kate Silverton in which Director Nick Langdon took part explaining CGL's leading role in the construction industry in this area.

 

“This was an important opportunity to explore the issues and inspire action,and we look forward to continuing to extend the debate and work with other to bring about change in the construction industry."
